My Family  Tree

© 2016 Linda D Newman

I have been working on my family tree for lots of years. It used to be that you needed to go TO libraries, courthouses and other depositories of records in order to find (hopefully) any information on your family.

Now there are so many sites available online which allow you to find records that used to be only available in the courthouse on the other side of the country, or even on the other side of the world. These vast resources of riches allows us to grow our trees faster than ever.

I have a lot of names in my tree, more than I possibly could put onto my website right now.  Eventually, I will add more individuals and family groups onto my website. But for now I have just two reports on here.

The first is a report listing the basics of my children's Direct Ancestors: names, dates and places only. I have added links to family group sheets for the individuals in generation six, a few of them also have documents on that page. These would be the common ancestor for those who are their 4th cousins. Frederick Charles Newman also has a link to his family group sheet, and copies of some of his vital record certificates.

The second report is for the descendants of John Just Busch of the Kingdom of Hanover (part of current day Germany). He is the 2x great-grandfather of my mother, Nancy Jane Busch Newman. There are quite a few names on there, with more names to be added as we are able to find more descendants.

Maybe you will see a name you recognize and we can connect as cousins!
