I have created different icons to add to my tree to be used as the main picture on an individual's profile to easily identify them by catagory. Feel free to download and use on your own tree. I use this as the profile picture on my brick walls, it helps me know focus on trying to break them down.
I have this as the profile picture on my 2x great grandfather and his parents because at this point the relationship is speculative so that others will be careful
I use this as the profile picture for anyone who is a dna match to me, it helps show which paper trail relatives are also dna trail relatives
If you don't want to differentiate between maternal and paternal lines you can use this as the profile pictures on your direct ancestors
I use this as the profile picture for everyone on my mom's maternal line
